Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need for everyday life. Through fun, purposeful activities, our OTs support sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, regulation and independence at home, at school and in the community.
Who It Is For
- Children working on sensory processing and regulation
- Children building fine or gross motor skills
- Children working towards independence in daily routines
What Happens in a Session
- Purposeful, playful activities rather than clinical exercises.
- Work that targets home, school and community, not just the clinic room.
- Collaboration with RBAs, SLPs and CDAs in a teaching-clinic environment.
Goals We Might Work On
- Sensory processing and self-regulation
- Fine motor skills such as writing and fastening
- Gross motor skills and coordination
- Independence in dressing, eating and self-care
